We are starting our basic conditioning program for our Physical Fitness Test coming up in the Spring. Thanks to Mr. Garcia for inviting us to come out and jog and walk with his class.
This week we read a story about three sisters that took a stand by taking risks for a friend; The Night of San Juan. Because of them, Jose Manuel was able to go with them to the beach and "Catch a Wave"
As part of Colombus Day we studied the Mayan Number System. We learned that it was based on 20 instead of 10 like ours. We also learned how they calculated big numbers with place value.
